Every September for over a decade, Sacramento has dedicated the month to bringing the Farm to Fork experience to the city. From the Tower Bridge Dinner, to Legends of Wine, and to the Farm to Fork Festival, the city comes together in celebration of our foodie scene and to highlight those who bring us the freshest food possible from all around the region. The Farm to Fork Festival as you know it is moving this year - and combining with a brand new event - to create a one-of-a-kind experience at the Safe Credit Union Convention Center called Terra Madre Americas.
Hosted by Visit Sacramento, they are calling it a culinary convergence like no other:
"Terra Madre Americas is making its delicious debut in Sacramento! This FREE, first-of-its-kind weekend celebration features food and drink tastings, live music, celebrity chef demonstrations, educational panels, artisan vendors, and more, bringing the flavors and traditions of Sacramento, California, and the world together into one unforgettable experience."
Both the Farm to Fork Festival and Terra Madre are being held Friday, September 26th through Sunday, September 28th and they are FREE to attend. On the streets surrounding the Convention Center will be the Farm to Fork Festival, while inside is the grand tasting of the Terra Madre events.
Friday's hours: Noon - 8:00pm
Saturday's hours: 10:00am - 8:00pm
Sunday's hours: 10:00am - 6pm
KFBK will be broadcasting LIVE from Terra Madre on Friday, September 26th from noon to 7pm and we want you to come out and experience this brand new cultural event with us.
