One of the last mask mandates from the coronavirus pandemic is expiring today in California. The Golden State is removing its mask mandate for health care settings starting today. Patients and visitors no longer have to mask up inside hospitals, doctors offices and dental offices. Employees also no longer are required to mask up in those settings and they also won't be asked to show proof they've been vaccinated against coronavirus. This comes about a month after the COVID state of emergency was lifted. The only rule left now is isolation for those who test positive.
