Another Ski Resort Pushes Back Reopening Date, Blames Uncooperative Weather

Another Tahoe Area ski resort is postponing opening for the winter season, citing uncooperative weather. Sugar Bowl on the north side of the lake was scheduled to open on Friday, now says "winter has not quite arrived yet" for the resort and that they will not be opening this week. They have not stated when they plan to officially open but ask guests to remain in touch and wait for the announcement.

This is the latest in a string of Tahoe ski resorts who have pushed back opening dates. Heavenly and Northstar both pushed back opening dates due to weather. Sierra at Tahoe says they will not open until 2022 due to the impact from the Caldor fire.
