As Americans try to get back to some form of normalcy, new research shows the pandemic has changed the way we shop for food.

She believes most of us will continue to cook and prep at home, using a combination of grocery store visits and online orders for curbside pickup. According to the Conversation, instead of risking disease exposure and waiting in long queues, consumers started to rely on delivery services, and for many, it became a habit. Sarasin thinks more will continue to concentrate on healthy and nutritious options, rather than the comfort food days early on in the pandemic.
