Caitlyn Jenner is reportedly considering a run for California governor.

On Tuesday, the website Axios reported Jenner is weighing her options with political consultants, including longtime GOP fundraiser Caroline Wren. Neither Jenner nor Wren have confirmed they're working together, or are exploring a run for governor. California Governor Gavin Newsom is not up for reelection until November of 2022, but a growing recall effort may force a special recall election later this year - organizers have reportedly collected more than 2 million signatures, well above the 1.5 million needed to meet the state's threshold.

So far, only former San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer and former California gubernatorial candidate John Cox have launched campaigns to succeed Newsom.
