More Vaccines Coming To Communities Hit Harder By COVID

40% of the state's coronavirus vaccine supply will now go to communities hit hardest by the virus.

Secretary of California Health and Human Services Dr. Mark Ghaly says the goal is to get two million doses to these communities. Ghaly says the shift will also help affected counties be able to move more quickly through the state's color-coded tiers toward reopening. Some of the counties that have been hardest hit by COVID include San Bernardino, Contra Costa, Orange and Los Angeles.
