Blue Diamond Growers Secure Multi-Million Dollar Downtown Sacto Properties

Blue Diamond Growers is continuing to expand its properties in Sacramento. The company purchased two properties last month across from its manufacturing plant and headquarters.

The Sacramento Business Journal reports the two structures formerly owned by the Salvation Army were acquired for over six-million dollars.

A Blue Diamond Growers spokesperson says one of the downtown properties on 19th Street will be used as parking lot for the company's employees. The company did not share its plans for the former Salvation Army thrift store, located on the intersection of 16th and D Streets.
