Kellogg's Serves Up Controversy With One Of A Kind Breakfast Cereal

Kellogg's has put some of its most popular cereals into one box to support an anti-bullying campaign. The "All Together" cereal will include Corn Flakes, Froot Loops, Frosted Flakes, Frosted Mini Wheats, Raisin Bran, and Rice Krispies bagged separately in one box that features the characters of each cereal on the front along with the "Together" spelled out in rainbow colors.

The company is partnering with the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation to support that group's work to stop bullying.

Not everyone thinks this was a good idea. There have negative reactions on social media.

"Thank you for helping me decide to buy the bagged cereal," tweet one person. Another said, "I’m disappointed in our favorite cereal brand. We will be choosing a new one. My elementary kid’s cereal should not be a LGBT conversation starter. Done."

However, others have been very supportive of the campaign.

A Twitter user wrote, "Thank you Kellogg. You have no idea how much this means to so many people!"

"Thank you Kellogg's for acknowledging LGBT communities and donating to them as well," said someone else. "What a keystone keepsake collectible with money raised going into LGBT causes."

The cereal was shipped to stores in time in honor of Spirit Day and will be available for a limited time. The company is also donating $50,000 to GLAAD.
