A Cameron Park woman ran out of gas and flagged down a Lincoln police officer.
The officer gave Lynette Stewart a ride to her car, and a gas can, only to discover the vehicle she was driving had been stolen, this week.
Stewart was arrested and booked into the South Placer Jail for vehicle theft and possession of methamphetamine.
