The price of gas has dropped in California, but the price you'll pay at the pump right now is still among the highest in the nation.
According to California-based Gas Buddy, the average price in the state is currently at $3.60 a gallon for regular unleaded. That price is down more than 12-cents a gallon from last week's average, and nearly 20-cents lower from this time last month.
San Francisco's average price is $3.81, and it's $3.54 in Sacramento. The national average is $2.63, down for a fourth week in a row, and currently at the lowest level since late March.
