Former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick says he is settling his collusion case against the NFL. His attorney and the NFL issued a joint statement Friday announcing the resolution of the case involving Kaepernick and another player, Eric Reid. Both filed a lawsuit against the NFL claiming owners and league officials colluded to keep them out of the NFL because they chose to take a knee during the national anthem at games.
Although Reid signed with the Carolina Panthers last season, Kaepernick has stayed on the sidelines.
Financial terms of the settlement were not released.
