Sacramento Air Quality At Hazardous Levels

Sacramento air quality has reached hazardous levels again today, as wildfire smoke from the Camp Fire in Butte County continues to hit most of Northern California.

Thursday was the second worst day since air quality numbers were recorded in 2003.

Bad conditions carried over into the night and this morning, with AQI readings hitting 408 in the Arden Arcade area, and downtown Sacramento at 427.

Other areas like Folsom and Roseville have improved, however with readings around 150 AQI Friday morning.

The National Weather Service expects unhealthy air conditions in the Sacramento Valley, at least through early next week.
