It's the deadliest wildfire in over a century. The Camp Fire in Butte County has killed 79, with just under 1,000 missing.
Officials say the Camp Fire has burned 151,000 acres and is 70% contained.
14,033 structures (homes, commercial buildings, minor structures) destroyed .
Butte County Sheriff Kory Honea urged fire evacuees Saturday night to review the missing persons list and let family and friends know that they are safe.
President Donald Trump was given a tour of the area Saturday.
The president pledged the federal governments full support. Gov. Jerry Brown and Gov.-elect Gavin Newsom were also in attendance.
Rain is in the forecast for a few days next week, helping contain the fire, but also complicating matters in the search for remains.
Butte County Sheriff/Coroner Kory Honea said anyone who reports a missing person will be interviewed by a detective and possibly be asked to provide a DNA sample to help identify family members who may be among those who have died in the fire.
There is a large number of people still missing due to the fire. The Butte County Sheriff's Department has established new telephone numbers to take reports of people missing due to the Camp Fire.
