8Chan: All of the Worst Things on the Internet. Drew Harwell talks to A&G.

The nation is dealing with two deadly mass murders that happened within hours of each other this past weekend. In the wake of those tragedies in Dayton Ohio and El Paso Texas, most American's are unaware of the forums in which people can meet to express and share ugly, hateful and destructive ideas.

One of the most popular sites is called 8Chan, which is an anonymous online forum that is now notorious for hosting messages and manifestos made by some recent mass murderers.

To help explain this forum of toxicity, Jack & Joe turned to Washington Post A-I and Big Tech Reporter Drew Harwell, who wrote the following articles for the paper:

A defiant 8chan vowed to fight on, saying its ‘heartbeat is strong.’ Then a tech firm knocked it offline.
