A group of Connecticut parents had a novel solution to a wet ball field--set it ablaze!
Without consulting with anyone, the parents poured 25 gallons of gas on the field--creating a hazmat situation.
Ridgefield police say their act also created a "hazmat situation" and referred to the effort to dry the field as "a poor decision".
We solute you, the overzealous and idiotic parents of the Ridgefield High School baseball team--and the roughly 100 spectators who stood and watched as the field was set on fire. Yeehaw!
