A Palo Alto California woman is looking for work after she lost her job over a stranger's Make America Great Again hat.
Rebecca Mankey confronted a 74-year old Jewish man about his hat while the pair were in a Starbucks.
After getting in his face, Mankey posted his picture on her Facebook account and wrote,
"Anybody in Palo Alto know this freak? He was sitting in Starbucks. I think he lives in Palo Alto. He will never forget me and will think seriously about wearing that hat in my town ever again." IF YOU SEE HIM IN THIS HAT, PLEASE CONFRONT HIM".
When word about Mankey's post got back to her employers at Gryphon Stringed Instruments--they fired her.
In a statement, the owners say they don't condone harassment or hate speech of any kind.
