Synthetic Marijuana Falsehoods Explained

In New Haven, Connecticut, the number of people who have overdosed is on the rise. 

According to reports, within a span of 24-hours, more than 70 people OD'd on synthetic marijuana.  

The latest rash of overdoses began earlier this week.  

Dr. Michael Baumann from the National Institute of Drug Abuse joined the show to talk about the mass of overdoses that have taken place.  

During the discuss (below) Dr. Baumann mentioned that the name "synthetic marijuana" is very misleading, "the substances are made in Asian labs and trafficked over the internet".
