President Trump called Roseanne Barr to congratulate her on the big ratings for the first episode of the return of her sitcom, "Roseanne".
Barr is herself a vocal supporter of Trump, and there was a lot of media attention ahead of her show's revival on the fact that her TV character would also be a Trump supporter
According to ABC, the sitcom premiere was watched by more than 18-million viewers and is the highest-rated comedy telecast on any network in nearly four years.
ABC adds it was Tuesday's highest-rated entertainment telecast in six years among young adults.
