The Hungarian Olympic Ski Team has their own version of "Eddie the Eagle".
33-year-old Elizabeth Swaney is an American citizen, born and raised in California, who's representing Hungary in the Winter Olympics.
So far, Swaney hasn't stood-out in the skiing competition for her epic runs, but rather quite the opposite!
Her most involved trick has the been the very basic alley oop. Her great achievement, other than her presence at the games, is not falling down!
With little skiing skill, how in the heck did Swaney manage to get in the Pyeongchang games?
The Harvard-grad did it by exploiting a flaw in the qualification process. All she had to do was compete at qualifying events, and basically finish without falling down!
As for why she wanted to compete, Swaney told Reuters, "I want to show others that freestyle skiing is possible and it is never too late to get into this sport, and to help others to dream and to progress the sport in Hungary".
