"DISEASED STREETS". Downtown SF Covered in Feces?

According to a TV news report, downtown San Francisco's problem with feces, garbage and even dirty drug needles has now reached a new low.

The NBC Bay Area investigation to detail the problem included tourist spots, City Hall, schools--and a police station.

Their conclusion:  "The investigation found 100 drug needles and more than 300 piles of feces throughout downtown".

One infectious disease expert says that the big concern should be what happens when the feces dries and becomes airborne.

Based on the report, the expert says conditions in SF are on par with third-world slums.
