President Trump and the ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee are taking shots at one another this morning.
Trump took to Twitter today to post, "Little Adam Schiff, who is desperate to run for higher office, is one of the biggest liars and leakers in Washington, right up there with Comey, Warner, Brennan and Clapper! Adam leaves closed committee hearings to illegally leak confidential information. Must be stopped!"
Congressman Schiff fired back at Trump, "Mr. President, I see you've had a busy morning of 'Executive Time." That comment is a reference to reports that Trump spends many mornings watching cable TV news and tweeting, something that is listed as "executive time" on his official schedule.
Schiff said the President should spend less time watching TV and "tweeting false smears" and more time on solving the funding crisis and protecting Dreamers.
Schiff claims that House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes' staff worked with the White House on the Republican-drafted intelligence memo.
