YOUR CELL PHONE IS MAKING YOU FAT?

New survey of 2,000 U.S. adults found that 30% percent said they can't eat without their cellphone and that it is making them fat.

The study, commissioned by Nutrisystem, also found, 72 percent admitted to watching TV while eating.

And, because they are distracted by the TV or while on their phone--they can't believe how quickly they've gobbled down their food.

Courtney McCormick, a corporate dietitian at Nutrisystem notes, "Early research has shown that taking a mindful approach to eating may help you lose weight and consumer fewer calories and fat."
