My new belle Allison and I went to lunch on Saturday.
We were in her neck of the woods so she took me to MJ's in downtown Brentwood, California.
She got a parfait thing which was outstanding. I got half a corned beef sandwich which was underwhelming.
We waited quite a while for our food.
I mean she got some yogurt, fruit, and granola, and I got half of a simple sandwich. How long should that take to put together? 10, 15, 20 minutes max?!
But Allison informed me them going slow "is a thing here." Okay.

Then we walked around downtown Brentwood because I like looking at old buildings and architecture.
There was a farmer's market happening, pretty flowers, and we sat in the park for a bit.

Then we went to Starbucks's to try their new Horchata Frapp.
My verdict: It's tasty, but it's a far cry from authentic Mexican horchata. Whatever.
Was the best part the whipped cream? Come onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.

Then we went back to her place where she cooked me dinner and I played with her pets.
We also watched 2 episodes of that Aziz Ansari show "Master of None" on Netflix.
The 1st episode was FIRE but the 2nd ep was meh.
