One of the two recently released Israeli captives spoke to reporters about the terrifying ordeal as she was held for more than two weeks by Hamas terrorists. Yocheved Lifshitz, 85, said that she was beaten by a group of men after she and her husband were abducted from their kibbutz near Gaza.

"They opened gates of the kibbutz, and dozens of them entered," Lifshitz said. "It was a very, very sad and very difficult. And in my memory, I constantly have the pictures of what happened."

The men took her away on a motorbike and beat her in a field before taking her to a network of underground tunnels.

"It looked like lots and lots of spiderwebs," Lifshitz said about the tunnels.

Lifshitz said that once she was underground, Hamas treated her and the other prisoners relatively well while they were detained.

"They took care of all our needs. To their credit, they were very kind," she said, noting how they provided her and other captives with medicine and food.

Lifshitz's husband is still being held captive by Hamas.

"It was difficult, but we will get through this," she said.
