Sacramento County Now Requiring Masks Indoors, Regardless Of Vax Status

To align with the newest CDC recommendation, Sacramento County Public Health is now requiring everyone wear a mask indoors, even those who are vaccinated. The department attributes this change to the increase day-to-day case numbers and the increasing threat of the Delta variant strain. Sacramento County's daily case rate has risen from 5.2 at the end of June to 18.3 by mid July. This means that while indoors at movie theatres, retail stores, workplaces, and family entertainment venues, everyone that can wear a mask, should wear a mask. Sacramento is one of the many counties in the state starting to reverse the mask mandates that were lifted last month.
