Doorbell Camera Shows Multiple Creepy Encounters At Sacramento Home

The mother of a Sacramento family is on edge after her Ring doorbell has captured footage of a strange man coming to her door four times, reports CBS13.

The man always comes late at night and claims to be from social services.

She told CBS13 that she has called 911 all four times he's showed up but the sheriff's office has not cited or arrested the man.

The mother was asked that her identity remain anonymous because she fears for her safety.

The footage capture by the doorbell camera also recorded audio of the man.

"Yeah, I'm with social services," he says. "You know, I hear a child crying, a little baby."

"I don't know what to do, how to protect myself, because I have no men at home," the woman told CBS13.

Every time the man has come to her house, her husband has been gone. Which leads her to believe that the man knows this.

"He keeps wanting to come in, you know, because he keeps saying, 'I want to come in, I need to come in,' and he's claiming to be from social services," she said.

A Sacramento attorney and expert in California Civil Harassment orders, Mark Reichel, told CBS13 he believes the man is breaking state law and even if he's not arrested, a civil harassment order could be filed against him and a judge would likely grant it.
