The class of 2021 in Sacramento will get some semblance of normalcy after a disorienting senior year.
Sacramento City Unified District officials announced that they will be hosting in-person graduation ceremonies, reports ABC10.
"Our district is excited to announce that we will host in-person graduations for our high school graduates this year," said officials from the Sacramento City Unified School District (SCUSD) in a press release Wednesday, April 14.
In-person ceremonies for the class of 2019-2020 were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This year's graduations will be held under the guidance of Sacramento County Public Health.
Those in attendance will be required to:
- Wear a face covering
- Practice social distancing
- Use hand hygiene
- Go through screening procedures
High school graduates will only be allowed three tickets to ensure a limited crowd.
