Sacramento City Unified High School Graduations Will Be In-Person

The class of 2021 in Sacramento will get some semblance of normalcy after a disorienting senior year.

Sacramento City Unified District officials announced that they will be hosting in-person graduation ceremonies, reports ABC10.

"Our district is excited to announce that we will host in-person graduations for our high school graduates this year," said officials from the Sacramento City Unified School District (SCUSD) in a press release Wednesday, April 14.

In-person ceremonies for the class of 2019-2020 were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This year's graduations will be held under the guidance of Sacramento County Public Health.

Those in attendance will be required to:

  • Wear a face covering
  • Practice social distancing
  • Use hand hygiene
  • Go through screening procedures

High school graduates will only be allowed three tickets to ensure a limited crowd.

    • May 28, 6:00 P.M. at Land Park Amphitheater
  • American Legion 
    • June 10, 6:00 P.M. at Hiram Johnson Stadium
  • C.K. McClatchy 
    • June 11, 11:00 A.M at Sutter Health Park
  • Rosemont 
    • June 11, 6:00 P.M. at Sutter Health Park
  • Luther Burbank 
    • June 12, 11:00 A.M. at Sutter Health Park
  • West Campus 
    • June 12, 6:00 P.M. at Sutter Health Park
  • John F. Kennedy 
    • June 14, 11:00 A.M. at Sutter Health Park
  • Hiram Johnson 
    • June 14, 6:00 P.M. at Sutter Health Park
  • Capital City 
    • June 15, 11:00 A.M. at John F. Kennedy Stadium
  • Kit Carson International Academy
