Disneyland Has Announced What Rides Will Operate When They Open

Disneyland has closed their magical gates for over a year to wait out the the worst parts of the pandemic. Now it's time for them to reopen, and working within the guidelines of the state's reopening plans, park officials have slated April 30th as their first day park-goers will come back. It was unclear for a long time as to what exactly they will be reopening and what attractions will resume operations when they do, but now the wait it over. Disneyland has announced a preliminary list of what will and will not reopen come April.

Disneyland Monorail

Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln

Donald’s Boat

Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage

Frontierland Shootin’ Exposition 

Goofy’s Playhouse

Jungle Cruise

Main Street Cinema

Matterhorn Bobsleds 

Mickey’s House/Meet Mickey

Minnie’s House

Pirate’s Lair on Tom Sawyer Island

Sailing Ship Columbia

Here's what will not be operating when California Adventure initially reopens:

Animation Academy

Boudin Bakery Tour

Golden Zephyr

Grizzly River Run

Red Car Trolley

Redwood Creek Challenge Trail

Sorcerer’s Workshop

While the park plans to reopen on April 30th, they are requiring guests to have a reservation before entering the park. Crowds will be controlled with limited capacity, making tickets for the first weeks of the parks reopening a hot commodity. The online reservation system launches on Disney websites April 12th.
