COVID-19 vaccines are available at some Safeway pharmacies to eligible Placer County residents.
Health care workers and long-term care residents and staff in Placer County can make appointments to receive the vaccines. The county's health department has teamed up with eight Safeways to administer the vaccine to Phase 1A Tier 1, 2 and 3 priority groups. The in-store vaccine clinics will be available until February 26 and will be open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
