The NYPD is mourning the loss of a 9/11 hero who lost his battle with cancer related to his time at Ground Zero following the September 11th terror attacks. Yesterday, officials announced Auxiliary Officer Michael Dorian's death, saying he truly cared about helping the people of New York City. Dorian volunteered on 9/11 and later became a member of NYPD's Auxiliary team. The NYPD Central Park Precinct thanked Dorian for his service, saying he will be missed but never forgotten.
