National Zoo Names Giant Panda Cub

The National Zoo's giant panda cub officially has a name. His name is Xiao Qi Ji, which translates to "little miracle." The zoo welcomed the public to vote on four potential names including the Mandarin Chinese words for "prosperous boy," "happy and prosperous" or "boy." The three-month-old cub is the fourth surviving baby of mother Mei Xiang. Keepers say he's now practicing his crawling skills.
