The California International Marathon has officially been canceled this year, due to COVID-19.
The popular event usually starts at Folsom Dam and ends at the state Capitol, with thousands of runners from all over the world attending.
"We are devastated to announce that we are cancelling the 2020 California International Marathon. We appreciate everyone's patience and support as we turned over every stone, working through all possible options and considerations for all of our event stakeholders," CIM said on social media.
