During President Trump's visit to Sacramento Monday for a briefing on wildfires, mostly-peaceful demonstrations sometimes pitted the President's supporters against those protesting the visit to McClellan Park. At one point a group of protesters also rushed a California Highway Patrol vehicle and at least one person climbed on top. Video shows the officer then speeding away, sending the protester to the pavement.
That person was taken away by ambulance. There was no immediate word on their condition. Another protester was treated at the scene for scrapes.
Earlier, a civilian car caught in the crowd clipped some of the protesters. CHP later pulled over a car which matched the description.
