California Governor Gavin Newsom is urging the state legislature to pass an economic recovery package. During his Wednesday news briefing on the state's response to COVID-19, Newsom saida the legislative session is almost done, so now's the time to get something done. Newsom also advocated for more worker protections, which include helping them to isolate and quarantine if needed.
