Apple Attempts To Rattle People Who Stole iPhones During Looting

Apple is tracking its iPhones stolen during lootings associated with recent protests over the death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis, Minnesota, police officers. Looters from the George Floyd protests broke into the company's stores in New York, Los Angeles and Washington, DC.

A post on social media which shows a message noting this phone has been disabled and should be returned to the store. It goes on to say it is being tracked and local authorities will be alerted.
