Coronavirus: Brothers from Tennessee Stuck with 17,000 bottles of Sanitzer

When Coronavirus concerns began sweeping the nation, two brothers from the Chattanooga, TN area smelled opportunity.

They decided to visit their local Dollar Tree, Walmart, Staples and Home Depot and clear the store’s shelves of every disinfectant wipe and hand sanitizer bottle. Apparently, what they got wasn’t enough. So, they rented a UHAUL and proceeded to drive across Tennessee and Kentucky doing the same.

They returned with thousands of sanitizer bottles and wipes, which would then be individually listed on Amazon with a price tag of anywhere between $7 and $80 per item.

Once Amazon (and EBay) caught wind of the price gauging, the opportunist’s were immediately cut off, as were the other sellers doing the same.

Stuck with 17,700 bottles of hand sanitizers, these Tennessee boys are disappointed that something so lucrative has become their burden. And, they’re clueless about how to sell them.

Here’s an idea.

HOW ABOUT YOU GIVE THEM TO THOSE IN NEED FREE OF CHARGE? DONATE TO A HOSPITAL? DROP OFF AT A CHURCH (and pray for forgiveness). Not judging at all.

I can’t even. Here’s the full story.
