Breaking News! Marshall Phillips Announces Retirement on Armstrong & Getty

It's a bittersweet day for the Armstrong & Getty Family.

After serving for 14 years as our "esteemed newsman", Marshall Phillips today announced his retirement.

Marshall's long and successful broadcast career began in Los Angeles, where he worked for some of the most iconic radio stations on the West Coast, including: KMET, KLOS, KWST, KLSX.

He also graced the airwaves in S.F. (KSAN, KFOG, KKCY and KNBR) as well as in San Jose, Tucson, Portland, Seattle and Sacramento.

Rumors are swirling about his future, with some speculating that he's headed to NYC for a UN post. Others are suggesting that Marshall simply wants to devote his life to fitness, and his life-long goal of completing 10 pushups. We'll continue to update this story as more details become available.
