Pender, Nebraska farmer, Kurt Kaser, is lucky to be alive.
Recently, during a typical day working on his farm, the 63-year old's leg got caught in a grain auger.
His response--pull out his knife...and cut himself loose...by cutting off his own leg!
During an ABC News interview, Kaser said of the accident, "It is what it is, make the best of it--is all you can do".
