"The Other Woman" movie review

Posted July 22nd, 2014 @ 2:19am

Super hottie Kate Upton is in this movie. Did I watch this movie strictly to see Kate Upton? NO. Okay I'm lying. Yes. Yes I did. So sue me. Would I have watched this movie sans Kate Upton? Mmmm, I dunno. Maybe not. Probably not. Definitely not.

"The Other Woman" is about a wife and 2 chicks, who some dude has an affair with, teaming up to sort of "get back" at him.

Is this movie hilarious? Nah. But it does have its comedic moments. And, dare I say, the movie is warm and has a heart.

So while this movie doesn't break any new groud, it is fairly enjoyable and it did leave me with a feeling of sentimentality and sincerity. Gag me with a spoon why dont you.

Can Kate Upton act? WHO THE HELL CARES?!?! Just joking. Actually, she does a solid job. Not much is asked of her, but she does a fine job in a smal, supporting role.

Leslie Mann (the wife) and Cameron Diaz (the first mistress) really shine in this movie. They're quite the duo and play well off of each other.

Judd Apatow (Mann's hubby IRL) is in no way involved with this movie, which surprised me. Good or bad thing? Negligent thing.

So, in conclusion, "The Other Woman" is a fine time at the cinemaplex. Go see it! Especially if you're a chick. =)
